Spybot Search and Destroy: All-in-One Spyware and Adware Protection

In my AVG article, I wrote about one of the lines of defense for optimal computer security, antivirus. Unfortunately, with the rise of the Internet, nosy organizations, and annoying advertisers, it is now necessary to implement two more layers of computer protection, anti-spyware and anti-adware. These two protection measures work similarly.

YPOPs!: Read Yahoo! Mail in any POP3-Compatible Email Client

When I signed up for a Yahoo! Email account, I had one purpose in mind: to obtain a POP3 email address. POP3 is an email protocol that messaging clients, such as Microsoft Outlook, Eudora, and Mozilla Thunderbird, employ to receive email. This method of retrieving email was the precursor to web-based email (like using Microsoft Internet Explorer to check Hotmail).
